Toughened Glass
Toughened Glass
Our toughened glass is processed through a state-of-the-art tempering furnace. By heating float glass to approximately 620°C and then rapidly cooling it with high-pressure air blasts, we introduce compressive stresses on the surfaces. This makes it 4 to 5 times stronger than standard annealed glass.
