DGU Glass (Double Glazed Unit)

Our Double Glazed Units (DGU), also known as Insulated Glass Units (IGU), are designed with two panes of glass separated by a hermetically sealed spacer bar and filled with dry air or noble Argon gas. This creates a superior thermal barrier, dramatically reducing heat transfer in summer and heat loss in winter, while filtering out heavy outdoor sound frequencies.

Argon is a noble, dense gas with a lower thermal conductivity than air. Replacing the air inside the gap with Argon increases the insulating performance of the DGU pane by an additional 15-20%.
